1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using our website, booking our services, or participating in our urban exploration tours and workshops, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services or website.

2. Service Description

Hidden Corners of Sydney offers guided urban exploration experiences, photography workshops, and historical walks throughout Sydney, Australia. Our services include accessing both public and occasionally permitted private locations to explore the lesser-known aspects of Sydney's landscape, architecture, and history.

While we strive to provide accurate information and safe experiences, urban exploration inherently involves certain risks. Participants join our activities at their own risk and must follow all safety instructions provided by our guides.

3. Bookings and Payments

All bookings for our tours and workshops must be made in advance through our website or authorized booking partners. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place. We accept major credit cards and electronic payment methods as specified on our booking platform.

Prices displayed are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time, but changes will not affect bookings already confirmed.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation by Participants: If you cancel your booking more than 7 days before the scheduled event, you will receive a full refund minus a 10% administrative fee. Cancellations made between 3-7 days before the event will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be provided for cancellations less than 3 days before the event.

Cancellation by Hidden Corners of Sydney: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule events due to insufficient bookings, extreme weather conditions, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule for another date.

5. Participant Requirements and Conduct

Age Requirements: Participants must be at least 18 years old or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who will assume full responsibility for their safety and behavior.

Physical Fitness: Our urban explorations may involve walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, and navigating uneven terrain. Participants should have a reasonable level of fitness appropriate to the specific tour or workshop as described in the event details.

Conduct: Participants must follow all instructions from our guides, respect the locations we visit, and behave in a manner that does not endanger themselves or others. We reserve the right to refuse service or remove participants who behave inappropriately, without refund.

6. Intellectual Property and Photography

Content Ownership: All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is the intellectual property of Hidden Corners of Sydney and is protected by copyright laws.

Participant Photography: Participants may take photographs during our tours and workshops for personal use. However, commercial use of such photographs requires written permission from Hidden Corners of Sydney.

Marketing Materials: By participating in our events, you grant Hidden Corners of Sydney permission to use photographs or videos taken during the tour that may include your likeness for marketing and promotional purposes, unless you explicitly opt-out in writing prior to the event.

7. Limitation of Liability

Hidden Corners of Sydney, its owners, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from participation in our tours or workshops, including but not limited to injury, property damage, or loss.

We do not accept responsibility for the actions or conduct of third parties, including other participants, or for any damage, loss, or injury caused by factors beyond our control.

Each participant is responsible for their own safety and must have appropriate travel insurance that covers adventure activities.

8. Privacy Policy

Information collected through our website and booking process is subject to our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the policy.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Sydney, Australia.

10. Changes to Terms

Hidden Corners of Sydney reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
